Celebrating our newest Rowers from LTR clinic on July 20-23

Our Learn to Row Clinic, held July 20–23, was a tremendous success! Twelve enthusiastic students joined us for four evenings of learning, laughter, and hard work on the water.

Thanks to the incredible support of our Capital Crew Masters volunteers, we were able to launch two 8+ boats, giving our new rowers the opportunity to experience the excitement of rowing together as a crew. To top it all off, we even finished the clinic with a little friendly side-by-side racing—an unforgettable way to celebrate how far everyone had come in just four days.

By the end of the clinic, our students were definitely tired, a little sore, and sporting a few blisters—but they also left with a tremendous sense of accomplishment and pride. Watching their confidence grow with every outing was truly rewarding.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who generously gave their time, encouragement, and expertise. Your patience and enthusiasm made this clinic a memorable experience and helped inspire the next generation of rowers. We hope to see many of these new faces back on the water soon!
