Our annual tradition for the final Erg session of 2025 did not disappoint! 💪🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️ Seven teams of three—balanced across gender and age—took on the challenge of completing 12,000 meters , with each member rowing between 300 and 600 meters . The teamwork, the energy, and the laughter made it such a fun way to wrap up the year. Our reward? Every year, the Capital Crew Masters volunteer their time at the California International Marathon… Why do we do it?  We do get a monetary donation from the CIM which has brought in cox boxes and speed coaches in the past.  It’s a way to give back to other sports in hopes that they might volunteer with us. The final regatta of the 2025 season — the Head of the American —  was hosted by the Sacramento State Aquatic Center  on beautiful Lake Natoma , bringing together high school, collegiate, and masters rowing programs. Capital Crew Masters  had an incredible showing, earning 3 GOLD , 3 SILVER , and 1 BRONZE ! The day was exhilarating — filled with camaraderie, determination, and the true spirit of teamwork.
