Fixer of Boats
Every rowing club has someone working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, and for the Capital Crew Masters, that person is Jackie Snyder. When oar handles are worn out, shoe spacers need adjusting and new laces, riggers are out of alignment, or a boat needs repair or refurbishment, Jackie is the one who quietly rolls up her sleeves and gets the job done. Her skill, dedication, and countless hours of work ensure our equipment is safe, race-ready, and in top

Thursday’s coaching session took a different spin as we traded crew boats for singles! Coach DeDe guided us through one of the most valuable safety skills every sculler should know—a proper re-entry and flip test. The weather was just right—not too hot—and the cool water made the exercise surprisingly refreshing. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and encouragement as we cheered on our fellow rowers, celebrating every successful re-entry. It was another great reminder tha

Masters Meeting and Potluck
LNRA Board invited all current affiliated rowing members to attend the meeting Saturday, May 23 at 9:30 AM in the rooms above the AC office. One item is on the agenda: The Board's recommendation to require members pay the equivalent of $300/year for the equipment needs of the club. This is the same amount as we've been paying the last few years under the Vespoli deal, but we've added clarification that all members using boathouse equipment wil be required to pay, starting J
