What a way to spend a Sunday! Head of the Port 2026 was a blast!

Capital Crew Masters hit the water in all kinds of boats—mixed 8+, women’s 8+, quads, doubles, and singles—and everyone came ready to give it their best. Some of us were chasing medals, some were chasing personal bests, and some of us were simply chasing the finish line! 😄

A huge congratulations to everyone who brought home a medal 🏅 and to those who smashed their personal bests. Every stroke, every second, and every bit of effort counts!

But as always, it wasn’t just about the racing. One of the best parts of the day was seeing the teamwork, camaraderie, and encouragement throughout the regatta. And what a great sight to see Capital Crew Masters and Capital Crew Juniors supporting and cheering each other on!

Whether you were racing, coxing, coaching, carrying boats, cheering from the dock, or simply yelling encouragement from the shore—you were part of the team.

Fast boats are great. But a great crew makes the day unforgettable.

Well done, Capital Crew! What a day on the water! 💙🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️

And a HUGE thank you to all fellow rowers who came out to help and to the amazing coxswains! THANK YOU to coaches DeDe Birch and Jackie Snyder for the training us so hard !
