Fixer of Boats

Every rowing club has someone working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, and for the Capital Crew Masters, that person is Jackie Snyder.

When oar handles are worn out, shoe spacers need adjusting and new laces, riggers are out of alignment, or a boat needs repair or refurbishment, Jackie is the one who quietly rolls up her sleeves and gets the job done. Her skill, dedication, and countless hours of work ensure our equipment is safe, race-ready, and in top condition.

Much of what Jackie does happens out of the spotlight, but it makes a tremendous difference to every rower who steps into a boat. We are incredibly grateful for her generosity, craftsmanship, and unwavering commitment to the Capital Crew Masters.
